New Enterprise
Academy Launches
Half-Day
Academic Program
After a successful
inaugural year and by popular demand, beginning in the Academic Year 2007-2008,
New Enterprise Academy started offering a half-day program serving
preschool age children in a developmentally appropriate, academically
challenging learning environment.
The half-day
Discoverers program is for students who are at least 40 months of age and
toilet trained. The program consists of five half-days per week. Students will
be taught using the same state-of-the-art NEA core curriculum designed for the
full-day program. NEA realizes that not all students learn in the same manner.
Based on this fundamental principle, NEA applies differentiated instruction at
all academic levels including the half-day Discoverers program.
New Enterprise
Academy was founded to meet the individual educational needs of the students it
serves. NEA classrooms and teaching methods are modeled after proven academic
programs maximizing each student's potential by providing the challenge and
support each student needs to grow and flourish. The New Enterprise Academy
Philosophy of Learning involves a planned course of action which identifies the
process in which goals and objectives will be met.
This program will be
offered on a first come-first serve basis. Limited spaces are available. For
