founded to provide an individualized educational experience of unparalleled
quality in a positive and stimulating learning environment which values
excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.
What grades does
New Enterprise Academy serve?
New Enterprise Academy offers
classes for students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade.
Where is New
Enterprise Academy located?
New Enterprise Academy is
conveniently located in the heart of O'Fallon at 206 W Adams St. If enrollment
continues to rise as anticipated, there are tentative plans to build a new
learning center in the future.
How much does it
cost?
New Enterprise Academy's tuition is
$5970.00 for the first student with a 10% discount for each additional student
when paid in full by March 31, 2010. Additional payment options are
available. NEA's tuition covers all educational services: curriculum,
materials, lab costs, guest lecturers, fees, etc. NEA makes it easy for
families to budget for their educational expenses with no hidden, surprise, or
add-on fees. When you add up the true costs of other private schools, you will
find that NEA is very competitive.
What
curriculum is used?
NEA has the opportunity and the
responsibility to choose what is truly best for the students served. NEA always
considers scope and sequence in the curriculum selection process. Educators and
consultants across the country assist NEA in its ongoing curriculum
selection process.
Spanish, art, music, and physical
education all play important roles in our curriculum. NEA has a
partnership with McKendree College's well-recognized educational program
providing some exceptional benefits for NEA students and faculty.
How does NEA
know what grade to place my child in?
A thorough assessment including
written and verbal testing and an interview is used to evaluate students
during their first week in school. Faculty, in consultation with parents, will
place each student in the academic level that best challenges his or her
ability.
Does the school
only serve gifted students?
New Enterprise Academy offers a
challenging course of study to all who seek an excellent education. NEA is
designed to serve all students who want to learn. All students will be properly
assessed and taught based on their individual learning styles and skill sets.
Does NEA have classes
for special education students as well?
Not at this time. However, on
a case-by-case basis, we will assess children with current Individualized
Education Plans (IEPs) who have already been "mainstreamed" into regular
education classes. Some of these students might excel in NEA's educational
environment, and we would like to give them that opportunity if it is the
proper placement for them.

employment applications?
NEA is now accepting applications
from highly motivated teachers who possess a strong commitment to nurturing the
